The Eastern Vascular Society is committed to a vascular surgical workforce that reflects the populations that it serves. In our society, we aim to decrease bias and increase the number of minority members supporting their development through education and mentorship.
We invite you to join a series of virtual evening sessions designed to increase the diverse representation of our society and empower you to obtain leadership roles in your career.
Through role modeling and constructive interaction in these small group sessions the EVS hopes to increase not only the diverse representation of our society but empower these individuals to obtain leadership roles in the society as well as their careers. To be inclusive, this effort targets all members of the EVS at varying stages of career and backgrounds. Discussions will focus on inclusivity, career building, and methods to reduce implicit bias in our daily interactions.
