THE OLD SLAVE MART MUSEUM The Old Slave Mart Museum is the first African-American Museum. It is often staffed by individuals who can trace their ancestry to Charleston slaves. This historic building includes a series on informative posters, a small collection of artifacts, and an interview with a former slave.
