2026 Early Career Program & Scholarship

Deadline to apply: June 15, 2026

Each year, the Eastern Vascular Society supports a program at the Annual Meeting tailored specifically for early career vascular surgeons within their first five years of practice. We believe that the EVS provides an unparalleled environment for young professionals to advance their careers and expand their networks. To support this goal, we have developed a comprehensive program aimed at enhancing the exposure and growth of emerging faculty.

The 2026 EVS scholarship will provide monetary support to cover meeting and travel expenses, fostering visibility and engagement within the EVS community and among its leadership. Participants will benefit from educational opportunities focused on career and professional development, as well as the cultivation of leadership skills while attending the Annual Meeting.

The program will be held in the afternoon the day before the Annual Meeting, September 16th. A multi-part session will address key aspects of career, professional, and personal growth. This will be followed by an exclusive reception and dinner featuring EVS leadership and industry pioneers. Ongoing engagement throughout the meeting will include participation as judges in the medical student and resident case competition and proctors in the simulation session.

Additionally, participants in this program will have the opportunity to transition to Active, full membership at no cost for the first year, further enhancing their professional journey within the Eastern Vascular Society. Join us in this exciting endeavor to shape the future of vascular surgery!
